Hail Dakkaites !

I've been browsing this website for more than a week, after deciding to go back to painting/playing Warhammer 40k. I was seriously impressed, there's a bunch of pretty amazing stuff in here, you gals and guys are impressive

My name's Deammer, i'm a french guy whose heart belongs in Belgium but that's trapped studying at a college in Dallas. I'm in a local band called Enamored and if you're around, you should check us out one evening (:
Anyways, i've started emptying my bank account over Citadel miniatures in 2004, with an army of Space Marines. It's now been three years since i've stopped playing though, and I recently took everything out of the dusty boxes to find that all the rules had changed and that prices had drastically increased. Well, that's always been the problem with Games Workshop: you hate them as much as you love them. But still, i've decided to start again and, as i rise from my grave, so does my small Necron army that awaits to be painted.

So i guess this is the moment when my gakky painting skills (not improved by years of slacking) will stand shyly in front of the Dakkaite execution squad. I'm hesitating between two army schemes for my 'crons: either a catchy greenish/skeletonish paintjob that will stand out on the battlefield, or a more realistic representation of the implacable and silent butchers that fits the Necrons perfectly (and myself too, by the same occasion). I've rapidly painted the two army schemes to get an idea, and it'd be cool to have some input from everyone.

The first scheme is the three pictures of the destroyer, and the other is painted on the Immos/H. Destroyer.

Rejoice, for we have returned and your days are at an end."

"So yeah, necron wraiths can phase out, move through terrain and vehicles, but their attacks don't penetrate armor. Wait, what ?"

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

Dont down your painting skills cause i think they look pretty good. Remember even golden daemon winners had to start somewhere. Personally i like the skeleton but i like things to look different from the normalcy and welcome to dak dak.
