This just occured to me and probably it was already discussed at some time before, but...

Ordnance allows you to roll 2d6 for pen and choose highest.
Holofield makes you roll 2d6 for pen and take the lowest.

So...what happens when a LRBT fires at a Fire Prism and hits?

Holofield affects the damage table roll, not the penetration roll.

Witzkatz - I think you are confusing Energy Field with Holofield.

Energy field affects the penetration roll
Holofield makes you roll 2 dice on the Damage table and pick the lowest.

Ordnance and Holofield do not interact.

Of course when you fire Ordnance at a Wave Serpent with an Energy Field, you only roll 1 Dice, as per Page 45 Codex: Eldar.
