Hi.
I can't really call myself a wargamer yet. I bought AoBR like 6 weeks ago and since then i've been dreaming up all sorts of ways to crush my opponents skulls but as yet I have only played a couple of games against my brother. Our first game took 3 or 4 hours because we took so long flipping pages to figure out the rules. But I think im getting the hang of it. Once I've made up a decent sized army I'll go to wherever they play 40k around here and have a proper game. I've never even seen a game that i wasn't playing. I was planning on going to check out a tournament 2 weeks ago but then I crashed my motorbike and sprained an ankle that weekend.
I've always been interested in warhammer. Until recently I couldn't really afford to buy all the minitures you need for an army, and even if I did I don't have many friends who play. The reason I'm starting with 40k now is mostly because I was in a store looking for magic cards when I saw AoBR. Suddenly the game didn't seem so expensive. I design pc games in my spare time so seeing as warhammer is so popular and especially 40k I decided I should try it out and find out why.
So out of orks and SM I decided I'm gonna go with orks. They seem more fun. Just shout WAAAAAGH!!! shoot randomly and club people to death. I bought some more boyz and I've got some lootas on the way, and some paint.
So thats me.

good to be here.
i don't think im gonna sell my SM though. I need them if I want something for my greenies to stomp on at home. I was thinking of converting my SMs to BT once i get my modelling and painting skills down.
