Lately I've been ultra motivated to get my stuff painted up. I have 3 armies in the tubes so it was time to get crackin' I guess. Anyway, the Chaos Marines army is the first of the bunch to get taken care of. Here are some pics of the stuff I've finished so far:

And I finally finished up the IQ for my IG army (redid the cloak a couple of times):




I should have the CSM army finished up completely by the start of next week, then I'm going to do some Vampire characters and start on the bulk of the IG army. Updates to come.

I could really use some tips on photographing models as well. Unfortunately with these pics I was literally limited to the light that was coming from the fixtures in the ceiling, which was way below par and distorted the colors a bit (especially on the Plague Marines, they're a bit more bright and pale IRL... the green worked fine on in the pics of the Rhinos though, idk what happened there). What type of bulbs should I be looking into? I'm going to work on making a cheap lightbox in the near future.

I would also do something about the two demon princes being exactly the same thing. Convert one or both of them to make them not look like the same model with a slightly different paint job

both of those things will be solved as soon as possible. The backpacks will be corrected in the next 2 days. I can't really say what lead to the mold lines on the PMs not being removed because I'm not sure how I managed to neglect that myself. The Princes... I absolutely HATE that model. I want to use 0 of that model and as soon as I find replacements that I like more, I'm going to snag them. The ones pictured are literally stand ins until I find models I like more.

I'm liking the Plague Marines, and the Rhino is coming on nicely, one thing I would suggest if I may is paint the whole Rhino green and give it a nice brown wash it would make it more Nurglefied some other idea are to perhaps use some plastic cement and dab 3 spots like the Nurgle icon and push a pen or pencil in to create small craters ( I hope that makes sense)

The plague marines look excellent. Usually people just make them look all dirty and think they can get away with it because it's nurgle, but those look really good. Im not really feeling the dark red oblits though, doesnt seem to have anything stand out. Other than that, fix a few highlights on the rhinos and it looks really good.

May I ask which wings youve used for your Daemon Princes? My prince is the only thing that is not WYSIWYG, as I bought dragon wings but put them on my hive tyrant instead. Those look reasonably sized so Im curious as to which ones they are/where you bought them.
