Showcase comics is good and worth a stop even if its too out of the way to be a regular.

There is also RedCaps a new store I have heard of but not visited yet, and Alternate Universes in Blue Bell.
I have recently resumed my status as a regular at showcase myself and we have a very strong player base but I hear Red Caps has a pretty good group as well.

I also will be in South Philly in a month. I am in NJ 10 minutes away. Your options..
Showcase Comics is your closest and best bet. They have a good amount of GW 40k/fantasy players, warmachine/ hordes, with nights and tournments monthly for all the previously mentioned systems.
Ye olde hobbies and games is in cinnaminson NJ on route 130 north in the mainline shopping center. Its about 25 minutes away, but you have to pay the $4 toll to get back over. You'll take 95 north, to the Betsy Ross, to 130 north bound. You'll pass the mcdonald's on the right, then a dunkin donutes, and a funeral home all on the right, mainline shopping plaza is a quarter mile on the right after the Slover Givnish Funeral Home.
Gamesworkshop Voorhees, would be another option, but its tricky to get to, and smaller than the above 2. They have a range of veteran to younger games, but most of the veteran's goto showcase for tournaments and Ye olde hobbies for warmachine and hordes. I know because i'm one of their veteran gamers. Easiest round is crossing the walt whitman bridge to 295 north. Once on 295 North you want exit 32 for Haddonfield-Voorhees making a right onto haddonfield road, go down til you meet up with whitehorse road, make a right, its in the plaza next to the genaurdis on the right.

Hey All,
First let me say thank you to all of you for the help. I know and have been to all of those venues. I have six kids so my weekends are pretty much family time. That means I want to game during the week.
Showcase Granite Run - Great store, Mike is a great guy (I've known him for years), my problem is the hours open by the time I get home from work and then get to his store I'd usually only have an hour maybe two at most until close.
GW Voorhees - I like the guys running the store and the people I've met there (both youngins and old timers) are friendly too, it's the same situation as with Showcase (no time) and the store just feels really cramped plus the toll
Redcap - the store just feels really cramped, no dedicated tables just folding tables you would put another table on, minimal stock, and parking during school season sucks, but they are open late 11PM weeknights I believe and the guys running the place were very friendly
Ye Olde Hobby - admittedly I haven't been to the new location but the last one was pretty small, plus the toll, and probably the hours of operation situation as well.
Any suggestions?

We used to do a "lot of late night Fridays" at Showcase. Might get back to some of those, and maybe some saturdays. Basically, they are geared to veteran players that want some time to get games in. Mall closes, we keep playing in the shop, and all leave together at midnite or one am. I post them on the Showcase forums when we do them.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
