normal plastic glue should work fine. And normal primer should as well, I mean it's just plastic, right? Just make sure you file off the studs.

I use leggo's all the time. Espically for my ork army. Scavenge wheels and such, and the then blocks look good for armor plateing after fileing of course. But my favorite use for leggo's in 40k is bunkers and buildings If they get blown up you can litterly take them apart and scater the parts in the area.

Plastic glue would probably work best, since it slighty melts the plastic on either side of the bond to basically cement the plastic together, you would get the toughest bond from that.

And anything will prime lego, primers are designed to coat anything nicely basically.

I guess plastic glue and reg. primer should be fine.

The usual polystyrene glue does NOT work, it can't 'melt' the Lego plastic. It does stick a bit, it's better than nothing, but don't expect a proper join.

I believe the professional Lego model builders use superglue.

Seconding Clang's advice, use super glue.

hot glue works super well actually, as long as you can press the pieces together before the glue begins to harden. I have done this before and they are incredibly strong when glued together in that manner, and on the plus side, you don't have to destroy the legos to glue them. it takes a bit of work, but you can pry them apart if need be

Use correct grammar darling, it goes a long way.
But back onto your question I think lego is sealed somehow as the plastic glue cant penetrate the molecules to break them down for glueing purposes, so use superglue or hot glue not plastic glue.

The plastic they use is NOT regular styrene plastic, thus polycement will NOT work on it.
Superglue does work, and some contact cements (proper adhesives) do work. Also some pvc adhesives seem to work on it quite well, too.

It's not the "sealing' on the plastic, it's the nature of it. It has a different 'texture' and plasticiser/polymer arrangement.

I concur. Superglue will work on Lego.

Not sure about primer, but if it doesn't stick Krylon makes a 'plastic prep' spray that will make normal (spray) paints work. I used that on my GH controllers.
