ok, so Im planning my chaos slannesh army, and even though most chaos models are awsome Im non a huge fan of the noise marines, so I had a plan to get chaos marines and convert them into a band(eg, leader with special wep=singer, troop with special wep=guirar/drums) so I know Its probably been donme before(I got a feeling there were accually some proper minis too, I know therer was an ork band) and Its a little cheesy, but what do you guys think? also anyone who has done this, or knows some links too it I would very much appresiate it.

While there were guitar-wielding Noise Marines back in the day (seen here: http://www.solegends.com/citcat9x3/c92403chaosspacemarines-01.htm), there were never GW-produced minis specifically for drums and bass. However, there was a tournament army a number of years ago that not only had a full band, but also had Elvis as the Chaos Lord (can't seem to find any pics of that, though, sorry!)

Edit: Still looking for the Slaaneshi Elvis pics - can't find them, but I did find this army on Warseer (http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55580)

On Emperor's Children.org They have a awesome guitar that's quite simple to make with a few bit's.

Its how noise marine started. On fulgrims flag ship some demons apeared and killed the singer who was making this music that they were having orgasims over (Literally)

Some marines picked up the instruments and turned them into giant sonic weapons In like a minute and started ripping apart the crowd which were fething each other to the music or beating each other up.

for drums Im thinking modified drum barrels, Like shawn crahan(slipknot) but seeing its slannesh obviously more decoration.

if you manage to get one, cast it so you can make a bunch of them for an army
