I've posted a few pics recently, and have hardly any views, and absolutely no votes on them...

I think they're on the first page by default for the new ones. But, I'd guess (for popularity wise rather than newest to oldest) post them when you get the chance, but as links rather than just pictures that way the people that actually vote canquickly get to yours and vote on it.

I usually check the first page after I submit my pictures, thinking that those represent the newest uploads... but never see my stuff.

I see, that happens for me sometimes. It depends on what is getting uploaded at the same time as yours because if that goes into the gallery last it's going to push yours back.

Isn't it the highest rated? My Crimson Fists captain is the first image in the 2nd edition gallery, and I think it might be because it has the highest overall score.

Alternately, highest number of votes could determine what's at the top.
