I joined a paint and play league to try and get through my assault brood box and finish my army. This is the second generation of tyranids I have attempted to paint. I added some Camo Green this go around to the carapace and I think it looks much more vibrant and tends to snap out on the gameboard better too. Going to start work on a hive tyrant and 3 tyrant guards, the guards are posted in the rules questions forum here because I mounted one on a large carnifex base. Am going to try and screw up the hive tyrant as much as possible.

And I made a Lictor during first generation before I switched to camo green but never posted pictures before. He seems to be very cloudy, I tried some spray varnish on it and it didnt work so good. Bleh...
