Infantry don't move 6" in difficult terrain. The roll
2D6 and choose the highest. That's how far they move. (Rulebook, page 14)
Any Jump Infantry model, unless they have their own specific rules otherwise, can choose to move as regular Infantry (rulebook, page 52, 'Movement') ... so the
IC could choose to move on foot, and avoid the Dangerous Terrain test. Which seems like the most sensible option... If he has to move at the speed of the unit anyway, there's no good reason for using the Jump Pack in that situation.
