In the Ork Codex, Ghazghkull Thraka has the ability 'Prophet of the Waagh!' and in the description it says 'this waagh lasts the remainder of that player turn and the following player turn. DURING THIS PERIOD GHAZGHKULL'S SAVING THROW IS INVULNERABLE' does this mean that his saving throw is an invulnerable, ie. 4+. or does it mean he is INVULNERABLE? thanks

Yes, 2+ Invulnerable, and remember he can call this at any time, so if you just shot up a unit making it below half strength, ie nobs wif power klaws ,to stop them making a test (call the Waaagh) and any non fleeing unit becomes fearless, Ie you then don't have to test for them....

thats a funny bit of rules lawyering.

does this mean that a cannoness's saving throw when she uses faith is not a 2+ invul, but rather a 2+ save that is invulernable?

It also means not to let him get shot at with psycannons.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

gazzys waagh replaces the armies regular waagh (its better), now thats, out of the way. The waagh may be called at any time DURING THE PLAYERS SHOOTING PHASE, so...no you cannot call a waagh to prevent a unit from taking a LD test as this happens during your opponents shooting phase or during the CC phase, neither of which are your shooting phase. Albeit if you find some weird circumstance where the opponent gets to force a LD test on a unit during your shooting phase this would work, however for the life of me I cant think of a single example of this. I dont even know of a psychic power that goes off during the opponents shooting phase.

Also technically gazzies 6" waagh movement is a waste, as there is no such thing as waagh movement (AKA fleet of foot movement). However most players allow the army to automatically roll a 6 for all run movement when gazzy calls his waagh. But you cant rely on this as there are some very strict RAW lawyers that wont allow it. But these tend to be few and far between and usually only show up on Dakka and in tournies.

? where dose it state that ? DURING the players shooting phase?, The txt reads............

Prophet of the waaagh!: Ghazghull's war cry can unleash a waaagh! of devastating proportions.Ghazghkulls Waaagh! can be summoned at any time, but only once per game, and not on the first turn. it replaces the armys usual waagh!-this one is better.

where in that dose it say ?must be done in a shooting phase?

Hmm. Regularly a Waaagh must be done in the shooting phase, but Ghazzie's does say "at any time".

In the prior codex, he could call his Waaagh at any time as well (although there was no other Waaagh).

2'nd paragraph or bullet point to Prophet of waaagh rules/description.

Ghazhkull's Waaagh! last the remainder of that players turn and all of the following players turn.during this period gaz's saving throw is Invulnerable.

?player turn ?who's it dosn't state who's it just states player turn and following players turn, so this could be either player. hence at any time.

@Ironklawmadgutsmek:It means you can call his waaagh on your opponents turn and it will spill into your next turn or you can use it in your turn and it spill into your opponents tun.

"Gazhkullz Waaagh! can be summoned at any time..." Meaning your turn player 2's turn 3's turn 4's turn ect ect ect...

"lasts the remainder of that player turn and the following player turn."

It doesn't state it because the book can't tell when your going to use it as its not restricted to just being used on your turn but any player turn.
