O.K. I have a dilemma that is which IG army to collect.I am collecting an Iron Warriors army and a Bad Moons army,and I got thinking that an IG would be cool to start sometime in the future.

The thing is that after looking through a friends dex I really began to like the catachans and their special characters but I've always wanted to have an army fitting the style of the vostroyans as they differ from my other armies and I can't decide which to get and that is why I have turned to you the people of dakka to help me with my plight.

The usual advice is that you should buy the models you like, as you'll be more likely to paint them.

Here, I have to pimp for the catachans. You can get the old metals on ebay for a song (including plenty of meltas!), and build a good sized force for the price of a single platoon of Vostroyans.

The actual Catachan infantry box kind of sucks, but the gun crews and command squad are fantastic.
