Discussion:
--They’re revamping the header bar at the top of the webstore; the new version will have drop-downs under each universe to allow people to select categories with a single click.
--Following the menu update they’re going to revamp the back end to better categorise and filter items
--The fiction section at the moment has no filtering options, so they’re looking to add options to filter by author, by format etc
--They’re going to tag fiction by series as well, a “more in this series” link will let you scroll other titles in an ongoing plotline, a trilogy, Shrapnel issues.
--More products are still being added to the webstore on a regular basis
--There’s going to be better integration between the new warehouse and the webstore allowing for items to be available sooner after arriving in stock
Q&A:
--Any update on European Hubs? The new back end will help with issues like VAT. The EU/UK hub is planned to be in the Netherlands, one will be in Australia and they’re looking to have one in Canada. The hubs will be receiving stock that will be fed back into the webstore more easily with the backend update. Australia is the closest to being done because they directly use Shopify, hopefully ready 4-6 weeks after the update. Getting stock to the hubs will be easier, they’ll be shipping direct from China/other producers
--What about swag, mugs, shirts, pins and patches? Those are being worked on right now. For low-stock items it might not be worth putting them on the site - they’ve been deciding between putting them on the webstore or bringing them to cons and possibly make someone’s day in-person
--Will the warehouse move mean more items are available to small LGS through distributors? For example Universal don’t have the BFM Volcanic/Glacier and Legendary salvage. BFMs and most merch aren’t available to retail. Otherwise, unless CGL hasn’t printed enough, the only reason a distributor wouldn’t have an item is if they don’t order it from CGL.
--How about the option for retailers to order wholesale from the webstore? It’s in the testing stage, they have seven stores invited and approved to use it. They have applications that they’re not approving right now, waiting for a broader beta test
--What’s the best way to give feedback around orders? Email store@catalystgamelabs.com --Any update on the ComStar Level II box reprints? Question passed to Randall (Randall said it’s a Talon question), the last big minis reprint arrived and has been passed to retail and webstore
--When will the City/Lunar BFM be on the webstore? There’s a big reprint of the neoprenes on the way for the webstore and shows. The BFMs will be part of that
--The Gothic minis are larger than the regular ones, will other Continuum boxes have similarly rescaled minis? That’s a Randall question (He says unknown at this time), the Gothic minis were upscaled a bit so all the extra detail would look good.
--Any update on the Clan Battle Star? They’ve gone back to the drawing board on a mini they wanted to replace
--Is that announcement Force manual Marik or Steiner? Steiner is on the list for November. Rem asked specifically about Marik and they said late Autumn.
--Print version of Techmanual? Never say never
--Any news on the new Elemental forcepacks? Nothing solid, Talon knows they want to redo them (Randall says no update)
--What are in the new aerospace forcepacks? No public announcement
--Any concrete update on EU/UK fulfillment on UK Games Expo? Bryn is making sure they have all the stock before calculating shipping.
--Any update on MUL 2.0? A wanted/needed feature has stalled the site. Talon thinks it was resolved, but it was also dependent on the site move.
--Any chance of retail Grinder kit for the webstore? Probably not.
--Inner Sphere or Clan? Clan
--Any word on the wolf forcepacks? No updates.
--ilClan updates for the current forcepacks when? They’re back in the production pipeline now the core books and boxes are off to print.
--Have Loren and Stackpole worked more on Den of Wolves? They’ve discussed things more but haven’t written anything.

They really struggled to answer that Comstar Level II question, lmao. I think the poster even and maybe a mod mentioned how hard it was to get ahold of, but they got really turned around into thinking the question was about remastered sculpts.

That was because the OP asked about when it was getting a refresh, which would be new sculpts whereas a reprint is just another production run with no changes.
Personally, the real question is what are they changing in the Clan Battle Star (which was meant to be the OmniMechs from the discontinued Clan Invasion box)?
