I won't go into specifics (too tired :-/); but stuff is there...
Tech Guard, Tech Priests, the most powerful vehicles and technologies of the Imperium...
C'mon, who here doesn't want to see the Armies of Mars mobilise?

I don't know if they even have a codex. It would be fun to play as them though, but it might just be counts as IG with servitors as infantry. Tech Priests as vets and Techmarines as the Enginseers and Commissars. Master of the Forge for the leader, but that's just the Techmarine again. The problem? All metal. I guess you could green stuff IG for the Servitors though.
Still in the end it would just be IG, which is disappointing...

I'm trying to suggest a new army
I don't know much about them but the AM do have a standing force; the Tech Guard... who I imagine to be a well-equipped elite?

I'd imagine that they would just have fancier looking Lasguns and otherwise be equiped with the same weapons as a normal IG regiment, but the weapons would be more ornate and of a higher quality; as would the vehicles they would have.
I think it would be great if they did release them as a new army, but with how they're currently handling the current armies I'd guess it would just stuff them up even more. The only way we'd probably see Ad Mech is if they roined all the SM codices into a single book called Codex: Space Marine. But, with keeping the individuality they currently have. Because Ad Mech is different enough to require it's own codex and not to be just a future option of IG. If they do, I'd guess it would also be one of those WD Codices.
But, something would be better than nothing

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

You could do it with the SM codex, Either scouts or =I= stormtroopers are skittari, Marines are techpreist levies, (WS 4?) Terminators would be Praetorians (look it up, if anything, they should be oblits) and obvously, the MotF would be the Magos-General.

I'd love to see a Adeptus Mechanicus Codex, though I do think the other codex's need updating first.
Who knows, they could be a secret squat army in disguise as GW don't want to admit they are bringing them back.

For Admech, I suggest Guard or Sisters freakshow rules.

admech would have a buttload of red robes and cool fancy things but the only reason i would want GW to ever do admech is for KNIGHTS! their fighting walkers that defend the priests. who cares about the priests Imagine huge walking robots on the battlefileds of 40k. oh i forgot to say but they are grim dark robots none of that gundam stuff

The two easiest ways to model an AdMech army is with either the Chaos Space Marine codex (Praetorians, knight titans) or the Imperial Guard (Skitarii/Tech Guard). There are a number of other builds, which mostly use the Inquisitorial 'Dexes as a base.
Those are official enough that you will have no issue using them in a tournament. For friendly play, there are a number of fan made 'Dexes covering AdMech armies, with the Tempest Fugitive's Cult Mechanicus PDF a personal favorite.

If I recall correctly, one issue of Firebase magazine had a battle report featuring Ad Mech (counts-as IG), Eldar vs CSM. The Ad Mech army was really quite impressive.
