hey all. Just throwing up a list i was thinknig of putting together. so i need help from the more experienced of you here to lend me your braisn (not literally.. thats just weird) And let me know if its any good. Either in a competitive way or even in fun factor
The initial buy is a battlegorpu consisting of:

Gorten Grundback
x3 Grundback gunners
x1 Ghordson Driller

Then expanding to a 1,000 army with:

x3 Grundback Blasters
x3 Units of Forge Guard
x2 Nomads
x1 Freebooter
Lady Aiyana and master Holt
Ashlynn D'Elyse

total points are 997. So throw your views up and see what comes of it

For Searforge, I think I would check out the Searforge Chronicle/ as well.

3 units of Forge Guard seems a bit much. Aren't there several types of dwarves? Go with some others, that way if one type isn't doing it you can move in the other soldiers.

Also, if you ditch Ashlynn for Durgen, you can be full Searforge....so you can have Brun and Lug.

Think about it...Brun and Lug.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).
