Thanks all! The main advantage of these guys are the heads. Plenty of hoods, rebreathers to tech them up... Also, since they're already situated in the
40K universe, there's no need to
40K-ify them; the main problem with using flaggies. And since they come without hands (the set contains hands with weapons on separate sprues), adding staffs and such is real easy.
The Commissar: I got lucky and found a few when a shop nearby closed down. I didn't have any idea what to do with them at the time (current codex wasn't even being talked about), and bought them on an impulse. It also means I'll only ever have one
PBS, since I doubt I'll be able to get hold of a second box. My opponents will rejoice!

. I've got 3 models left over (12 in a box), but they're carrying sniper rifles and an autogun, so I don't really have a use for them right now. Maybe as a vindicare or something.
Death by Monkeys: I considered cawdor, but the masks threw me off, and the guns are often molded to the bodies. Have you considered the old wyrd minis from necromunda? they're psykers to begin with, but may look a tad undisciplined.
