Need another project while i wait to find some hulk termies for sale

After reading all of the comments over a few months about the model (Not many fans of it) Ive decided to try and make him from scratch (even though i dont mind the model)


Would bone giant size be acceptable? from pics he is huge.



The bone giant will give a basic shape for him (however, i only plan on using its arms and legs)
The body will have to be a wire and GS job, as will the head as the bone giant one looks goofy to say the least.

All in all, im looking for suggestions of sourced parts to make him, even if he isnt playable i still wouldnt mind having a decent model in my collection.

Bone Giant size would be about right - the main body is about normal human scale, but the hat makes up the rest of the height.

I am tempted to use the bone giants body, but use a disc cutter to get rid of the lower half of the armour (just makes it too bulky)

The hat shouldnt be much of a problem, just need to use that pic as reference as im going along.

Sounds like a great project. I think you can get away with making his body bigger than human size - I always had the impression he was pretty large, given the descriptions of him sitting on his throne in Nagashizzar (sp?) during the whole Fellblade incident. Hope the project works out.

Wanted to make him a bit bigger than the origional model, since all of the old edition models are a fair bit smaller.
Also, his size in most pictures shows him as huge, usually 4-5 times the height of a man.

I may even just cut down the bone giants legs by about 10mm or so and shorted other sections to make it a bit smaller.

Just been sifting through random bitz i have laying about to see what i can use, and by the seems of it i have a collection of junk lol.

Over the next week or so ill draw up some concept pics for C&C, once i have that sorted ill start to source out decent parts and then start work on it.

This will actually be one of my bigger GS projects for once (rather than the odd SM detail here and there)
I think the only thing ive done bigger than this was for my lustria orks (orks mounted on cold ones with a bretonian knight feel to them)
which included the old metal giant with a lance and shield mounted on a steggadon lol.
