Ok how do I get the right bome white for the deathwing terminators?? Any help would be awsome.

I haven't painted that colour yet, but I'd guess that you paint it like you would white. By starting with black or grey then building up to the lightest grey then a couple of coats of it over the top of that. This way the detail lines stay black and you don't have to go back to them later to fill them in. I'm not sure about what wash though. Someone will probably have a better method than this.

Personally I'd just Bleached bone, gryphonne sepia, bleached bone and add skull white.

Man thats awsome i love the way that looks. I will use your way looks more simple to pull off at the same time as the detail is insane thanks very much.

If you want to be lazy though, you could just find some bone-white spraypaint and then hit it with a wash and it actually looks pretty good.

Just google "how to paint Deathwing" and you can find some stuff.

I started out with a base coat of snakebite leather. Then went with a 50/50 mix of snakebite & bone white for the larger areas. Bone white highlights and a final super thin highlight of skull white here & there. The other methods stated previously are MUCH faster, LOL!! Maybe use my method for the characters.

When painting i use.

Denheb stone basecoat
Wash with gryphonnie sepia
Rebase with bleach bone
Highlight with bleach bone skull white mix.

then keep going as bright as you'd like just adding slighty more skull white each time.

Post ur picks of your painted deathwings and steps please its bugging me ikeep tryin and tryin and can't get right!

Thats a brilliant guide that looks great, but only if you can pull off the right colours and correct consistency (I couldnt so gave up on bone deathwing They're green now )

Be warned though, the poster of that guide used vellajo paints and only gave equivilants for the GW ones that dont quite match up.
