Lootaz in a Goff army,fluffy or not?

I've been wondering over this for some time now,and I just can't seem to make up my mind as to lootaz belonging in a fluffy Goff themed army.
Sure lootaz are a great unit,lotz of fire power etc,but fluff wise...I'm a bit torn on using them as I prefer to keep my armies "fluff corect".
So,my fellow Dakkites,what are your oppinions..Lootaz,fluffy or not?

I considered that,and am inclined to agree that a single lootaz mob wouldn't be a total "fluff butcher" move,it's just that I pay so much "lip service" to sticking to fluff,I didn't want to be branded "hypocrit extremius".

You can probably get by with a single mob grudgingly hired on as Freebootas, but even the Goffs are the 'let's shoot at them and keep their heads down so there's more of them to beat to death when we get there' Orks. A Loota mob doesn't have much of a popular place in a Goff army unless you manage to wipe out a few enemy units in hand to hand combat with it.

Lootas are about as unfluffy of a unit as the Goffs are going to have.

Which isn't to say that a Goff warband would never have them, pretty much every ork warband is going to have a few oddball units. Just that if you're looking to stay really close to the Goff fluff, you may want to look at your other options. What are you hoping to do with the Lootas?

If I decide that I really don't feel they fit with my army I'll trade them out for somthing I feel does,yet another Nobz mob more than likely.

I think Tankbustas might be 'goffic' as well....though they need some kind of ride, but if you can get them one they'd fit great! (Imagine this, battlewagon with some rokkit launchers on it, and 15 tankbustas in the back. Macross missile massacre :O )

Kanz would fit great too, and the AoBR Koptas are shown in the art in Goff colors. (Edit: Another Nobz mob would fit as well, the old codex had a unit called 'skarboyz' who were from the Goffs, so if you have any of them left over, they'd definitely fit as nobz. Skarboyz are 'ard as nails veterans.)

Edit2: OOOOOOO! SKARBOYZ WITH LOTS OF HEAVY GUNZ! They could be some lootas for ya. Just paint your lootas up with lots of scars. They've seen lotsa battles, and picked up lotz from their enemies afterwords, now theys too 'urt to continue da fight, but 'dey get by just fine from da back, bein in da fight dat long gets ya some nice loot. and 3, dam, I'm so doing this.

I should have perhaps clarified that I have a fairly large Ork army,and have themed it after Goffs,I've included Killa kan mobz,loads of slugga boyz mobz,2 Nobz mobz,deffdreads,battle wagons,tank bustas,grotz,burna boyz and even a looted wagon (as a Mekboyz personal transport).
My basic problem is/was feeling that Lootaz just don't seem to fit in with Goff fluff,and though I have an unpainted mob of 15 lootaz,I wasn't sure if I should paint 'em up and use 'em anyway,or perhaps just try to trade them.
@ Orkeosaurus & starbomber 109 ,good ideas from both of you,I have kanz with rokkitz and tankbustaz,and yes,I fondly remember Skarboyz (wish they still exsisted).
The idea of Goff skarboyz standing at the back field shooting is another "not so sure " area,IMO a Goff skarboy would rather drag himself into CC by his teef rather than stand back and shoot,but I'll mull it over some.

Heh, model them as grots with the looted weapons as either field pieces, or huge guns with two grots toting them. Goffs run off to fight, but the grots would love to sit back and throw around the dakka. And with all the boyz running forward, who would tell them not too? Might even model a mech/runtherd conversion. Theme it as a mech that wants to test out some dangerous stuff, and is using grotz for the dirty job.

Maybe paint them up as a unit of deffskullz, perhaps remenants of a previous WAAAGH! that got destroyed.

Well, if you've already got that much you might as well throw in some Lootas. Especially if you've got the models.

Just make sure to get some severed ork heads tied to the Lootas' belts and paint their faces blue. Now we now why Goffs are running around with that kind of weaponry.

Lol, I just might do that Orkeo,at least the severed Deffskull heads will keep them in line with my theme.

Lots of Lootas are fluffy for two clans:

Bad Moons - who have lots of teef and spend them on More Dakka.

Deathskulls - who, by nature, are Lootas.
