Hi again,

I finished the next Gear Krieg tank conversion - the pinnacle of Soviet engineering, the IS-2 Tesla death Ray tank!


The conversion is again based on a FoW tank, the Tesla gun is from the Allied weapon pack of DP9, the additional heat sink on the engine deck is from the GZG 15 mm building fittings and the plastic heat sink is a GW Tau part out of my “bits” box...

Very cool!

I recognise the turret heat sink as the back end of a Burst Cannon.

I hope you will put this in the Gallery so people can see some nice stuff for other games.

However - I have to admit it: What is the difference between this place and the Gallery?
What is the benefit of posting it there?

The Gallery is where all the picture are put. Gallery pictures are shown on the front page of the site, and people can visit the Gallery, vote for models and leave comments.

This forum is for painting and modelling topics. There's no reason not to post a new model here, like yours. We get a lot of posts in this forum so your thread will quickly sink down out of site.

If you put the picture in the Gallery and also in the "Vote For This" thread you will get more attention.

It takes about 100 views per vote, in my experience.

The Gallery also allows you to organise your pictures into themed areas, such as all Gear Krieg.

If you are doing a long term project, you can make a thread in P&M Blogs, which you can update whenever you want to.

Is this tank stock, or a conversion? Either way, I love it!
