Pretty much what it says. I need to know where I can buy 4x6 Pink or Blue Foam Boards ONLINE! Theres laws against selling it where I live do to safety issues or something so I need to know where I can buy it as I am wanting to make a table to play on. My local GW even has it imported from another part of the US. So any help would be awsome.

Home Depot, in the building materials aisle.
Oops. Online. Missed that... Try an online builder's supply company?
Alternatively, can't you just go to the next city over and buy it?

Out of curiosity, where do you live that it's illegal? It seems like a pretty strange thing to be outlawed- especially seeing it's pretty helpful(if not essential) in most new home construction.

Ah, California- probably some restriction due to toxicity when burnt or some such. California's pretty legislation crazy- you might have to drive to Nevada to buy from a store. I'd be afraid shipping would be prohibitive due to the size if you were buying online(and I could see it getting battered by the shipping company)- best bet might be to try to convince the local GW to add some for you with their next order.

Well I looked it up and couldnt find anything except that its not really stocked at all in socal and mid western states as its used for heating floor in winter or something and we dont need that apparently... The earthquake thing was probably just something the person I asked made up. Oh well. Ill have to try and do that LuigiX. Until then does anyone have any ideas? At this point any size would work...

It is only illegal in California to be used as structural insulation.
There is no law banning it.
That being said, you can order it from www.rcfoam.com
In California, expanded polystyrene(white dot packing foam) and fiberglass are the only legal building insulations, which is why Lowes and Home Depot don't stock extruded polystyrene out here.

It is definitely a bummer as it's only about $20 for a 4'x8' sheet of 1" back east.

Eh it would come out to be the same just about. For 4 of the blocks it would be $20 and 4'x8' but 2" which is fine since I would like to add rivers and what not

Why dont you buy 2 by 2 sections of mdf or plywood it is alot sturdier than foam and easy to store than a big piece of foam. Just a suggestion.

Since you are using it for table construction, go ahead and use the white expanded polystyrene. Once it is textured and coated with glue and flock it is very durable. Just mount it on 1/4" hardboard or plywood first. 2 to 3 coats of wood glue, sand and a base of latex paint or even textured spray paint go a long.
If you are really worried about it getting broken then get some Shell Shock resin http://www.smooth-on.com/index.php?cPath=1165 to cover the table. It is a brushable resin that is strong enough to use for outdoor projects. I have been playing with it and have yet to find a more durable product for coating foam. You can get a small tester size for $30 and it will cover a 3'x3' area. If you are doing a full table though get the gallon this will give enough for the entire table, movable hills and anything else you want to cover.
