PaperTerrain moves into the future! Warfare in the future will see strange and amazing weapons of incredible destructiveness. You need to protect your troops behind fortifications that are just as strange and amazing! We are pleased to announce the release of our first four kits of Futuristic Fortifications. There is a set of Fortress Walls ($40) including 80” of straight wall sections, 16 corner pieces, and two gates. The Sentry Tower kit ($20) has six sentry towers. The Obstacle Set ($15) has fifteen 4” obstacles ready to stop vehicles or infantry. Finally, we have the Futuristic Bunker ($15) which includes a single bunker with a removable roof. The kits are all in 25/28mm scale and available now from PaperTerrain www.paperterrain.com (Oh, on some monitors these photos may look a bit pink or purple. I assure you the real models are a nice concrete gray with dark gray metal parts.)

I'm pretty sure the OP was trying to sell the product. So asking for a .pdf of his work in his post is kind of rude.

I know, Christ man, at the very least ask for that crap somewhere else.

Though for the matter at hand, looks nice, might be worth abusing the printing supplies of my friends over =)

It looks like the paper models are supplied by PaperTerrain, so there isn't anything to print yourself.

Per the initial post, I believe the URL is www.paperterrain.com

What I'm not sure about is if you're asking if anyone can send you a free copy of their product because you don't want to pay their price. If so, I'd suggest you simply not buy one rather than ask someone to steal their IP for you.

Very cool looking stuff here!

Im considering buying patterns then use plasticard to make some more permanent /durable pieces.

It could be worse, you could be on fire.

Knowing how long it takes to design, beta test etc. etc. card models I think you have a cheek to ask for a free PDF. someone has taken the time and effort to put this set together respect the fact that they have even bothered.

Lots of card model manfacturers go out of business because folk buy one copy then scan it and flog it on ebay or some other sites.

They look good and just the sort of thing many a club would like to have.

Good Luck to the company who did this would like to see them a little darker more 40k colourings.

Thanks!

If you check out my website www.paperterrain.com you'll see that all the other items are historical. I've been in business 4 years and it has been surprisingly successful. This is my first foray into SF items and I see it as an experiment to determine whether there is much of a market for this sort of thing. If sales go well then I will add more items.

You fail. This is not some mega corp, your talking about ripping off a small private company. That's basically personal theft.

And you fail for insinuating that it would be ok to steal if it was against a mega corp.

If you actually get these pre-printed, it's a nice enough deal.

I never was a fan of the print-it-yourself stuff like Worldworks. Unless you can steal printer supplies at work, just the ink you use costs more than buying the same thing in resin.

You thieves crack me up. You want everything handed to you, or shown a way you can swipe it. God forbid someone does something that is actually worth paying for. I mean, the creative people of the world are really just here to make things for you cheapskates that can't actually create anything or even appreciate how long it takes to make something that is worthwhile, right?

Nope, here's the skinny - the creative people of the world are here to be creative and you uncreative thieves are here to do the one thing you can do to have nice things - pay the creatives for them.

Those pictures definitely look purple. I'm glad there was a disclaimer, because I was getting seriously choked about the weird purple terrain. Until I realized that, you know, I have all this paint lying around for some reason.

How sturdy is this terrain? Will it handle being transported decently or will I have to walk on egg shells to keep it in one piece?

It is surprisingly sturdy. The material I print it on is actually posterboard which is about twice the thickness of 110lb cardstock. It cannot withstand being stepped on or having heavy weights placed on top, but it has no problem with metal figures. Being light-weight, it can survive being dropped or bounced around better than resin models can (and you don't have to worry about dropping them on your beautifully painted figures). The bunker is especially sturdy. You need to reinforce the eight 'wings' with balsa or foamcore and once you have that and several layers of cardstock and glue, the thing is like a rock The wall sections are reinforced with multiple folds and will stand up very well. Being a new product I can't give any examples of longevity, but I have been hauling my WWII models to conventions and tournaments and using them in games for four years now and they are still in great shape.

He's talking about the earlier posts in the thread that you obviously didn't read, where people were complaining that the templates were not free.
