Hey Dakka!
I'm currently playing a game of orks vs.
ig. Against myself... Anyway, what is worth noting, is that I didn't count points before starting this game, I just used all my orks and all my
IG, kitted out like I would want them. To be fair, it was an educated guess, as I'd only recently counted both armies to around 1400p. but I guesstimate that the orks had around 150-200p. more than the
IG. I also play on a very small table (150x80cm), so it's quite crowded.
Considering all this I expected the orks to walk right across the board, and be left with more than half its forces (like they did against my friend's space marines not long ago.

) However, what's happened is that in the beginning of the last, or possibly the penultimate turn, I'm left with on the ork side:
2 wounds on thraka, and he's also the last in his squad.
1 wound on Lotsfinga (generic warboss,) with one nob with one wound left in his squad.
2 burnas.
2 warbikes.
1 Deffkopta.
1 Killa Kan.
What's left of
IG is:
Straken unharmed, with an unharmed Lord Commissar left in his squad.
1 Leman Russ.
Now, you might say that's not exactly even numbers, but it's a heckuva lot more even than I predicted before the game started. My first question is; is it this even because I'm me, playing against myself? I try to do the most tactically logical for both sides, but I wouldn't know myself if I'm un-consciously biased towards
IG.
Okay, lastly. Do you play games against yourself?
If so, do they usually end pretty evenly?
