Yeh thats brutal. It's going to take a lot of rockets to take all those down.

Savage list. That would be a serious PITA for most lists.

Too few DA to do anything. Why not save points and get some storm guardians with fusion guns?

SIGHT LOST DUE TO OVEREXPOSURE TO PURE AWESOMENESS!!! That is so awesome at 1.5k... I wish I got enough brainwaves to create an Ork equivalent... Oh, and to answer Durandal's question: Because they are 8pts with a 5+ save. The only niggle is, I don't really like Autarch's. Maybe swap them out for a farseer. But, my qualms aside, awesome.

I dunno. Lots of tanks is good, but the only real and continuous firepower you have is in those prisms. Your waveserpents dont have many guns by themselves and have no firepoints. Once you get out of your transports you might pop a vehicle or kill a few guys but then you lose the squad to return shooting or combat. You will need to hit a lot of your opponents army all at once to be able to do enough damage. A smart opponent will kill the prisms in the first couple of turns , which takes most of the bite out of your army, and then deal with the rest of it as it comes.

I think you need higher numbers in all your squads so you arent quite as vulnerable once you are out of your transports.

Eh it should be pretty effective as long as its objective game(unless your opponent was smart and put an objective on a 2nd story lol and you have some good tricks) but annihilation def lacks in the firepower of other tank army lists..

Would be more scary with 2 kitted DA units than 3 bare bones.

Yeah, agreed, chop off one DA squad, make the other 2 full with bladestorming exarchs, and I think your set...

I used to run almost he exact same list. 5 man DA squads are really meh.

A tough opponent will be an SM army with lots of infantry and no tanks.
This army should be able to stun or shake your precious tanks so that they will not shoot all rounds.
Your infantry units (FDs and DAs) are largely useless against such an army.

That is the worst possible counter. You have to bring in your army turn 1, while he can come in from reserves on 2+. So of course he puts his army in reserve and once you've mostly landed flies on far away and shoots you dead.

I agree 2 da instead of 3, you lose a grav tank but the army gets better, then you can add a squad of pathfinders maybe to get an extra objective.

Pretty brutal. I might go with a single Autarch then maybe upgrade something else with the extra points dropped. Maybe an exarch for the FD?

How about giving some of the WS or FPs under slung SCs and upgrading the WS w/ SC to be Scatter Lasers or EML's.

Like they said before drop 1 DA squad/WS and make two tricked out DA squads w/ added Shuriken Cannons(on the WS) and replace 1 of the Autarchs with a Doomseer w/ a spear to ride in a DA WS. That should put you at 1497.

Honestly your scoring units are too small. if all 3 DA squads get killed off all you can hope for is a wipe out victory or a draw. with a draw being most likely.
