I don't have any scans at all. The pieces fit together pretty easily. The Book actually hampered my effort in putting mine together. I would ask around at your flgs and see if there are any spares that people have.

Your other bet is to dry fit the pieces or use sticky tac (that blue sticky stuff) to hold things in place. There are two long pieces that make up the top and bottom. A middle cockpit door goes in between them. The two side doors will then attached and the seats will go in the transport section. The back door will then attach to the back. The engine pieces fit together easily and the vents go in the middle. The front turret is made up of the "rotator", the gun, and the support piece. The gun drones fit in the recesses.

That's a quick over view. Try to find some pictures of people assembling them. I believe there is a tutorial somewhere on magnetizing them that would help in assembly. I'm not sure of the link at the moment.

Can I quickly ask: What is the point of that little panel that fits into the door of the Devilfish?

The panel in the back door? The door opens up. This little piece makes it into a ramp that the fire warriors can run down. If you were running out of a transport I bet you would want a ramp that didn't have a huge hole in the middle of it.

But even with the panel fitted there are still 2 akwardly shaped holes in the ramp. Why didnt GW just cast the door as one piece?

It saves in plastic waste. If you notice the door turns into a big hollow piece.
