When I get bored, in my spare time (as you do) I decide to write random lists for chaos that I know that I'll never make. However after writing this list and I showed it to a mate, I realised it's quite hard. So what do you guys think?
HQ:
Daemon Prince, MoN, wings, warptime. 175pts (175)

5 Plague Marines, 2 plasmaguns. 145pts (495)

Dreadnought, extra close combat weapon, extra armour. 115pts (1000)

Not only are Nurgle Bikers very un-fluffy, They're at risk to loosing their icon to a large balst template or such, making the unit loose their gimmik. I would add more Plague marines, and put them in rhinos before I had a dread and bikers. 2 HQ is a little much, but I think you're going for a Monster Crush List here, so I'll just say to up the troops and mechanize.

Well, two small scoring units that are not protected by transports can become a liability.
One DP should be sufficient at this point level,
while the Bikers should be fun to play.

If the OP called it 'Deathguard' we might have issues, but if it's just Nurgle...why would a biker unit with an icon that is named Nurgle be unfluffy?

That is old fluff for only a single legion, we are in the age of Warbands and make your own legion era of GW.

I don't like min. sized troops, but as Wuestenfux has said, if you do, go with a rhino to protect them as long as possible.

Bikers are too expensive at 1000, and only get you 2 meltas...fun, but overpriced and don't do as much as they should.

Dp's are pretty beefy, but again, prob. a bit much at 1000, maybe just have one warptime, you can still keep 2 DP's, but even that is pretty competitive/more than 'fun'.

I don't agree. The fluff lives on weather or not the rules force or encourage you to support it.

As far as I know, Nurgle is the god of plague and stagnation. Not turbo-boosting (the opposite of stagnation)

In regards to listbuilding, which I strayed from by bringing up fluff, I agree with wuestenfux and Sanctjud 100%. 2 DP is a little much, and min. sized plagues are not ok, and need to be in rhinos for sure.

When I thought of this list I thought of having converting the bikers so they are riding spiders. Also I would limit them so they wouldn't terbo boost. I will drop one DP and mechanise the current units and may drop the bikes as well and get another unit and mechanise. I'll keep the dread tho. Maybe in bigger pts I'll re-add the bikes and other DP.

Why would Nurgle suddenly get flying skimmers ( a la Blight Drones).
GW is telling us: "make your own fluff"....anything goes.
