hi everyone

im new here and the first thing i wanna do is to show you one of my army lists (ok the first thing was introduceing myselvf)

all the armies i show are 1000 points armies cuz i mostly plays with that, but i combine the ork armies for bigger games

this is the footslugging list so theres plenty of boyz

HQ

Warboss with MA, cybork body and bosspole. 115 pts (i call him Gorgutz)

TROOPS

30 ork boyz with 2 rokkit launchas and a nob with PK, bosspole and eavy armour. 245 pts (are fearless cuz the mob rule )

15 shoota boyz with 1 big shoota and a nob with PK and bosspole. 135 pts

3 meganobz with 1 kombi-skorcha. 125 pts (Gorgutz bodyguards)

FAST ATTACK

5 stormboyz with a nob with PK and eavy armour. 100 pts

HEAVY SUPPORT

deff dread with big shoota, DCCW and extra armour. 105 pts

5 flash gitz with more dakka and shootier. 175 pts (for some extreme dakka! )

=1000 pts

what do you think?

Try these gitz but be prepared that they might just be a waste of points. 10 shots with a 33,(3)% chance to hit might prove to be a total mistake. This forum from what I have seen is gitz-proof so I suppose there's a reason for it. Usually they get cardiac arrests when they hear flash gitz
Meganobz have the slow and purposeful rule so it possible they will get to charge in the last turn (IF they even make it to the enemy) and that would suck. So you might try shoveing them into some transport.
Stormboyz and the gitz will be very vulnerable in such small amounts. Also notice that one dead will already mean a morale test which is easy to fail with that small orkish Ld.
Rokkits on slugga boyz are less then useless. You'd rather run in the shooting phase instead of bother shooting which most probably will miss.
The dread could do better with scorcha, I think. Then you always hit and may be more deadly than a big shoota.
These are all suggestions. After all you'll do as you see fit but maybe this will help you.

The Eye of Terror

This list lacks some of the important pieces of a low-points horde list.
For starters, warbosses are great and all, but IMHO all ork armies should include a big mek. Horde armies rely on cover save. IG gets it because they are stationary, nids get it by moving fast, orks get it with big meks.

Secondly, 3 meganobz in a horde list? Spend the money on more boyz!

The 30 boyz is good and all, but use big shootas instead of rokkits, or just don't include special weapons at all, because choppa boyz should be running every turn.

the 15 shoota boyz are not only weak, but die to a stiff breeze. Drop the meganobz, get 15 more, with 2 more big shootas.

Stormboyz are meh. I don't like them, you apparently do. Nothing really wrong with them.

Nix your entire HS section, replace with killa kans.
The deff dread is your only AV. that means turn 1 it is going to get hit with every S6+ gun in the enemy army.

actually, the rokkit launchas, snazzguns (those used by flash gitz) and big shootas always hit cuz they are assault weapons

1. That is nowhere near how assault weapons work dude, assault only means you can assault after firing them.
2. Drop the extra armor on the kans theyre a squadron and that means that stunned already gets knocked down to shaken.

Yeah just because their assault doesnt mean their going to hit. Plus the bonus to no guns in a slugga unit is for the running during your shooting phase...so even if assault weapons meant you could always hit, which it doesnt, your still un able to run. Therefore, it gives your opponent that extra turn to drop pie plates on your boyz and destroy them.

it says in the rules "they fire so rapidly or are so indiscriminate that you don't have to do much more than point and shoot"

I'd drop the Warboss and the Flash Gitz and take another full squad of 30 Slugga Boyz. 90 orks is a lot of bodies to shoot down in just 2 turns.

The fluff doesn't state the actual rules. Unless specified that assault weapons hit automatically it just doesn't count. Sorry.

As for the tips.

Well now you have a troops heavy list which is good if you have to get objectives, but... Imagine now a blast heavy IG army with a few large blast tanks. Not to mention you haven't put a mek with KFF into this which will mean that they're going to drop like flies... or worse. If you intend to run that second list I strongly suggest changing the warboss for a mek. You're not using da big boss rule anyway so if you leave it that way it will lose quickly. You'll be lucky if any of your boyz manages to charge anything.

2nd list is better but like everyone is telling you...you need the KFF Mech with it or your dead.

i can replace the killer kans for 3 warbikers and a warbiker nob with PK in the first army. costs the same.

i think i gonna use big mek bugnutz (a big mek with KFF, eavy armour and bosspole) in the second army.

The kans are fine. Warbikers will have some leadership issues once they're hit, besides it would ruin your footslogging ambition. Wierdboy is a fun hq... Unpredictable and funny. I personally like him but I don't use him often because usually KFF is takin that slot and if not there are obviously other also important choices. But for a fun game he's perfect. If you don't have to try too hard to win or if you don't care about winning then you should use his. But then again he's not bad. If you have a special plan for him he can do the trick. But there are rare situations where he's more apropriate than other Hq choices. But for one thing he's cheap.

the weirdboy's ''ere we go!' power is pretty good IMO, and if im lucky enough to get ''ere we go!' and then 'WAAAGH!' in the next turn, its devastateing. just imagine a group of 30 ork with a weirdboy teleporting just 12'' near you, wouldnt you be surprized?! thus you should only teleport within ranged units. close combat units (like assault termies and assault marines) will just tear you apart!

But you see it all depends on luck and dice. I recall reading a post where somebody claimed to have a waagh! every single turn except the first one. It was a Ghaz + Wierdboy army from what I remember. However at times you might roll powers which don't suit the enemy, so it's an unreliable unit. Still amsuing though.

but i had upgraded the weirdboy to a warp head so if im rolling a result of '1', i just reroll.

did you know that ghazghkull's WAAAGH! lasts for the rest of the game? it says in the codex, "Ghasghkull's WAAAGH! lasts the remainder of that player turn and all the following player turn.".

that makes Ghasghkull even more dangeoures.
