I recently saw this article and thought of Dakka Dakka. It's a history of the 'space corridor' in movies.

Any idea where I could get terrain pieces for space corridors?

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Games workshop had an old 3-D Space Hulk setup on their old website. They used vinyl roof gutters for walls, flourescent light grateing and crochet grid for floors, then basically garnished the walls to taste with mechanical gubbins. Basically just wander around your local hardware store looking for goodies.

Q: What do you call a Dinosaur Handpuppet?

A: A Maniraptor

I'm very, very disappointed with Dakka for not recommending any more fine purveyors of space corridors and, perhaps, industrial towers.

I hear litko aerosystems have something like what you are after. They are some kind of internet meme, though, and could just be an urban myth.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Don't those guys offer industrial towers? Maybe a space corridor? I'm not sure, but I thought I'd heard something like that...

No probs. That article was a good read.
Can't have a great SF movie (or mediocre British TV series) without space corridors.

(The article link was meant to be serious... the Litko reference was a joke. A bad one, apparently. And Killkrazy, that pic is creepy.)

The Litko joke is one of the best we've got going on Dakka, along with the Pan Fo.

Silence! We are swan to secrecy! Tell them nothing!

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
