i just played 4 games over the weekend (all mission one) and in each one the stealers won. in addition, my opponent played another three prior to me arriving and the stealers won those too. i'm pretty good at minis tactics and he's good at board game tactics and we're both decent in the other category so i don't think it was a skill level thing since we would alternate sides. basically, the marines came close to winning a single time (it was down to my flamer guy killing a single genestealer with a flamer and me rolling a 1 to flubb it) but otherwise we can't seem to find a tactic for the marines to win. the scenario listed above was preceeded by incredible luck on the marine's prior turn in which a single termie's overwatch killed 9 stealers with only one jam (cleared with my last command point). is there something we're missing? do people have houserules that give the marines a bit more of an advantage? do people let marines shoot to kill on a 5 or 6 (4 with sustained SB fire)?
