Well, I've finally gotten myself back on a shcedule where I can work on my minis again on a regular basis. So, the first one to mark off is the poor valkyrie that's been sitting half-finished for too long!

Making the passengers wasn't really the hard part. Especially with the Cadian Command sprue to cannibalize!

...The hard part was trying to get the color right on these darn decals! They're those printable ones and I must've burned through a ton of them trying to get the colors right. As you can see I still didn't quite get it but it's good enough for me!

...and of course I had to go crazy with the picture taking! My little baby's all grown up! *tear*

Thanks for looking!

That last action shot is amazing. Also, don't worry, the decals look fine!

I like the directional weathering on the wings, very subtle and understated (and I know how hard that is to do). Did you use oils, powders, or just paint it on?

Great flying shots, how long did it take to do all of that including the figures?

The chipped paint is just steel paint drybrushed on. I do a wash on all of my models using charcoal pastels and rubbing alcohol too.

Well, I picked up the thing like a couple days after it was available at the local shop so it's been forever. Actual work time was probably more like a few days. The decals (and a crazy busy schedule) made this project last far longer than it should have.
