Hello
I'm a new Dakka member, although I have read a few of the posts from time to time.
First off I have to admit i'm a complete nube. I've been reading the Black Library books for about five years, and used to play a lot of Hero Quest/ Space Crusade back in the day but thats about it. Plus i've never really been a member of a forum (for anything) before.
I finally took the plunge and started to collect an army about two weeks ago (imperial guard: i'm painting them like the US 7th Cav). I've come up with a 1500 point army list that i'm working towards and would appreciated feed back on.
I will post it later once i've worked out where to put it. That's it for now just wanted to say hi and that i'm looking forward to discussing Warhammer 40k with you.

I will put up pictures eventually, just a little nervous about it at the moment. This is quite an intimidating hobby to get into. Plus i'm actually at work at the moment
