Probably should post the type of art style and methods I am looking for, so with out further ado.
The art style I had in mind will make use of vivid and bright colours and be done in a humourous/comedic light to compliment the games content. The game is about crazy and creative goblinoids who create amazing contraptions of all kinds and the most famous of which are their giant walking gladiator robot suits! The most famous of these engineering super stars enter and pilot their master pieces against all comers in the yearly competition called the Super Battle Of Legendary Engineers, or Super B.O.L.E. for short. Sometimes even enthusiastic fans(or sabatoures hired by opponents) jump in and join the melees much to the crowds enjoyment.
Most of the artwork I think will need to be in colour so monochrome sketches and vector art are out(unless we can find someone to colour them). The game will mostly be played with cards and to that end the artwork must be in a medium that can carry a decent amount of detail when scaled down to a image about 3"x2". So naturally if you like to work in chalk/pastels or large paintings the artwork will most likely have to be done on a larger scale to be manageable for the artist and then I'll have to scale it down by computer to the smaller format. Digital artists will have no issues with formatting and should inquire although again if your not one to colour your work we need to find someone for that. Sculptors and traditional modelers will not be needed for this project (Although I have another one in the works that will, so stay tuned or pm me so I remember to contact you later!).
Basically if you are familiar with
Magic the Gathering or
Munchkins the art will be scaled down and fit on a card similar in size to those, I do however require a battle scene for the box art. But that piece doesn't need to be done anytime soon and again it will be in full colour, but other than that the art medium will probably be open to anything.
Thanks for your time and to those who have already expressed interest. This should be fun for all.
