Just got off an interesting discussion regarding Daemon on Daemon combat. Example : Bloodthirster vs. Keeper of Secrets. Thirster has obsidian armor and slap you around gifts, keeper has allure, torment blade etc.....does Obsidian Armor nullify the Torment Blade?

I believe it would NOT since gifts are clearly described in the book as "Daemonic Gifts are not magic items and are therefore immune to any spells or abilities that destroy, steal or otherwise alter the behaviour of magic items".

My friend believes that the torment blade is considered a magical weapon, and is therefore subject to the nullification of the Obsidian Armor...

any thoughts?

They are not maagic items, there is no debate possible on that: you can duplicate them for a start.
