I decided to go with the official color scheme - I love how it looks. I have pretty much the whole game painted (no 'nid pics yet) except the Librarian and a few details like the faces on the Seargents (which is why they arent in the photos). MAN these guys are detailed - I keep finding details I missed! It went pretty fast - I got the game Friday night and was playing with these by Tuesday. Airbrush helps! Kinda proud of these, not gonna lie. It's awesome to play this fun game with painted pieces. So fun.

Gorgeous termies. Airbrushes do make everything so much quicker.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Very nice paintjob, I hope, mine will turn out so good... One minor criticism though: the bases. They should get something added, at least some paint...

A Squeaky Waaagh!!

Camkhieri: "And another very cool thing, my phones predictive text actually gave me chicken as an option after typing robot, how cool is that."'

Bases were painted black - I think to match the official ones (unless those arent black?)

Yeah I probably shoulda drilled the barrels - I was impatient to play.

Airbrush was used to apply the 50/50 basecoat of Dark Flesh and Blood red. Really speeds it up and gives a really smooth, even finish.

I think the bases should be painted so that it looks that they are in a city.

They look so good dude... do you mind giving a little tutorial for them?

I'm guessing you spray primed black, then airbrushed the red base coat, and brushed on other base colors and details?

I don't remember seeing anything like this on GW's site. As far as multiple posting of this pic, the only other time I've seen it was in another post also made by Orangecoke.

The official minis have drilled out barrels, these have painted barrels. It's not hard to believe that someone who can paint this well is also capable of taking a professional quality photo.
