Hello everyone. After posting my previous army list and reading some articles online I've made some changes to my last list. Here is the new one:

HQ

Emperor's Champion - Accept Any Challenge 140 Points
Chaplain: Master of Sanctity - Plasma Pistol, Holy Orb of Antioch, Terminator Honors, Frag Grenades, Melta Bomb 156 Points

Elite

Sword Brethren Squad w/ 5 men - Pair of Lightning Claws, Power Weapon, Frag Grenades, Krak Grenades, Infiltrate 150 points
Dreadnought - Twin Linked Lascannon, Missile Launcher, Venerable, Tank Hunter, Smoke Launchers, Search Light 169 Points

Troops

Crusader Squad w/ 9 men - CCW/BP, Power Fist, Melta gun, Frag Grenades, Rhinos with Smoke Launchers and Extra Armor 236 Points
Crusader Squad w/ 9 men - CCW/BP, Power Fist, Melta gun, Frag Grenades, Rhinos with Smoke Launchers and Extra Armor 236 Points
Crusader Squad w/ 8 men - Bolters, Plasma Gun, Plasma Cannon 154 Points

Heavy Support

Predator Annihilator - Lascannon sponsons, Smoke Launchers, Search Light 149 Points
Predator Destructor - Heavy Bolter sponsons 110 Points

Total Points: 1500

How's it look? The Sword Brethren Squad is going to outflank and try and pick off some stuff left behind to shoot at my army (like devastator squads or the like) or drive some units off or away from objectives on their side of the table. The Predator Destructor seems good for swarms or even light armor (landspeeders or other armor 10-11 tanks). Both my Chaplain and the Emperor's Champion will be joining a Rhino each and bring the transport to a full 10 men loaded up and ready to zoom forward for some close combat goodness.

Any wargear tweaking that anyone feels should be added or dropped please let me know! Go to town on the list.

See you on the battlefield,
TakamineG

The only thing I might change would be a Marshal for the Chaplain. You already have Preferred Enemy, which makes one of the chap's abilities redundant. You have 2 units (Sword Brethren and 8 man squad) with a leadership of 8. You have a ~30% chance of failing that on 2D6 when you take a single wound.

With the extra points, you can give the Marshal a power weapon or lightning claw. Otherwise, pretty solid Black Templar List.

Lightning Claw marshalls are great. The issue is, that without a retinue, he'll be really vunerable, because he has no Inv save.

...one amongst untold billions.

I played a 3000 point game today with myself allied with another space marine player at 1500 points each today and it worked out really well. The outflanking sword brethren took out a guardian squad sitting on an objective when I assaulted them near the table edge they came in on. The the Eldar turned around to take it back. We had to quit early but at the end of the game I hadn't lost much and it was looking promising.

However every time I took saves I just remembered thinking about how my leadership 8 marines might fail a test off of one wound. I think I do need to run a marshal instead of the chaplain to recoup the extra leadership. I already re-roll my hits so it's redundant to have the chaplain for that reason alone.

Prettx good looking list only suggestions i have are drop the p fists for p weapons you have melta guns for tank kill keep the chap attach him to a crusader squad you will always pass the righteous zeal test im not a fan of plasma but thats your choice also i am pretty sure you cant infiltrate with the accept any challenge vow (dont have my codex handy) i would drop them for a second dread with a multimelta and ccw

grab some marshmellows and lets watch the world burn

SM assault termies are a sledgehammer. BT assault termies are a woodchipper.
