I'm working on a gaming board and I opened up my bag of scorched grass only to find it in little balls. WTF do I have to break up each individual ball of grass? Help!!

The little balls break up really easy, I have a few of those in my carton of flock too. If they're hard you probably should return it.

What I do, put it into some tuperware, and or empty jar, add, marbles and or decent sized object which is easy to remove, then just shake it. That what I did.

Not your average answer from me
alot of people use grinders for thier weed.
Pick one up and use that, should work perfect!
all it is: a 2 part round tin, on each half there are loads of pins close together.
Simply twist the tin for a few seconds and it should work wonders

Depending on the size of the clumps, you could just leave them as is. Mix them with a turf blend from Woodland Scenics (which you should be using exclusively anyway) and flock away. Any sort of grassy terrain in the wild is uneven anyway. Sports fields, corporate grounds, etc. are uniformly manicured, but a filed in the middle of nowhere that is playing host to a big battle? I wouldn't worry about the clumps.
Of course, if they're the size of cookies, yeah, break 'em up.

Soft balls? Should be fine. When you apply it and remove the excess it should
be less noticeable. Only the bottom parts of it should adhere to your glue, right?
