So i want to make a snow covered map with some trenchs and stuff like that in, if you have fallout 3 a bit like the anchorage expansion
any ideas?

Get insulation foam and carve it. Like a huge, huge amount of the stuff. If you can get a foam cutter you can just dig right into it and cut out some trenches. As for snow flock, a lot of model train stores have it for cheaper than GW or Gale Force 9.

So carve up the foam, mount it on some hardboard, then paint it white. Cover it with snow flock, but leave a few patches of dead earth to keep it from being monotonous. Use small pieces of wood (popsicle sticks, properly painted) for trench reinforcements and the like.

All in all it would be really, really labor intensive, but has the potential to look fantastic. I've heard people doing similar things for around $100.

but ive got another idea if i can copre with out it looking blizardy what they do at my GW is dry brush loyts of white paint so you get lots of snow and ice in certain areas, but a little bit of snow in others
