No,I don't think so.It has a loyal fan base.Perhaps smaller in number to GW's but they're still there.I would think that they will last as long as GW,but then again they are vastly different companies so comparing them and guessing longevity is a bit difficult(for me atleast).

So the simple answer I(atleast for me)is,they will still last for long,or atleast I think so.

If you want to wait, wait to see how the MKII transition goes. If it flops, then
they're going to struggle along.

I think MKII will create a resurgence.

MkII has generally been well received as far as I know. I know I'm looking forward to it.

I'll give you a more definite answer.

Yes, Privateer Press and its games will last like GW has, because they run the company like a business as much as they run it like a game company.

No, it won't flop.

Generally, if PP was in danger of dying, they wouldn't be investing in new plastic manufacturing, putting out a new army, making 2 new board games, licensing out the IP for a video game, and more. Admittedly, the game hit a bit of a lull in popularity, where it was hard for them to get new players due to the structure of the game (to power gamey in Mk1) which is why Mk2 is coming out.

I'm not saying Mk2 will bring about some giant resurgence, it might, but that remains to be seen. However, Privateer Press and its games have reached a critical mass where it's very difficult for them to die out unless the company has some serious mismanagement, which I don't see happening with PP since they've got some good businessmen behind the scenes.

They'll also be staying around more since they're diversifying their properties. Doing boardgames, card games, video games, and more.
