Eldar: Simply to do your patriotic bit to cure the blight we Marine players put on the game: I'm too poor to reroll but I really do feel guilty for playing the "default" army... and proliferating power armoured noobs accross your pretty tabletops :<

SM are easier to play and paint. If you want more of a challenge play Eldar.

At smaller point levels, I'd prefer Eldar.

Take a Farseer with doom,
two squads of 10 Dire Avengers in Serpents with stones and shuricannons, and
some heavy support units.
Personal preference here, either Warwalkers or Fire Prisms.
