Hello, and thanks for reading my question.

An Ordo Malleus Inquisitor is an elite unit from the Daemonhunters codex. If bought for the basic points cost, and not given any wargear, it would appear that he has only his 4+ armour save, and no weapons. If I do not spend the 1 point for a cc weapon, does that mean he cannot attack at all in cc? I could have sworn I read somewhere that all models count as having 1 basic cc weapon for their points cost, but I cannot find it in the current edition rules, and must assume I am thinking of either fantasy or an outdated edition.

Thank you for your help.

If he has an A characteristic, he has attacks - if it's gotta be his fists, he has attacks.

Yeah, there is no difference in the current rules between having a single close combat weapon, and not having a close combat weapon.

It's only having two close combat weapons, or having a Special close combat weapon, that makes a difference to how you attack.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.
