So I looked this up on the forums and read a couple threads but really did not get a clear understanding of the issue.

Here is the scenario:
I have Melta vets in a chimera from previous turn.
I move said Chimera 12 inches.
I disembark my melta vets
My melta vets shoot at an enemy unit.

Here are the questions:
Can I disembark a squad after moving at cruising speed?
If it can disembark, can it fire after disembarking?

I looked through the rule book and found that passengers cannot fire from the vehicle if it moved at cruising speed, but that is really about it.

Thanks!
