Hello!
This will be the thread of my conversion concept: The Nightmare Lictor!
This is also my first conversion.
The model is supposed to have more carapace, spikes

, double sided schytes, changed head (I really don't like that feeding tendrils

even though it shall count as) with side jaws or whatever they can be called.
When you have read the whole thread, i hope you can add comments here with feedback, either send it in a
PM and please vote/feedback on my lictor in the gallery:

Also i want to have is a sort of a special character, and would like help from you, dakkaites to give me some ideas on rules and so forth

.
Additional Info before i move on, always use some sort of place-keeper inside the greenstuff on larger-than-spikes parts like scythes and so on. (Learnt by mistakes

)
To do that easily... Have some wires of some sorts and thicknesses (not very important on normal sized conversions) and apply the greenstuff around and inside it.
The little harder way to do it but makes for more visualising before you make the real one (you could be wise and make it in normal modelling clay to make a good? sketch) and then press the wire inside it, fo0rm the greenstuff and or add greenstuff to make it look good again.
I will start with the pics of me working with it and explain some:
This is the half finished Lictor, notice the spikes, tail and neck made out of greenstuff. The top front little upward carapace piece was taken away to make space for a cooler head.
The head is made out of a warrior head, with excess carapace removed with the sprue clipper

(the yellow and brown stuff is normal modelling clay wich is really handy to have near when doing almost everything).
This is me holding it up while working on it.
This is normal Lictor arms (and random bitz

but notice that little nifty' wooden handled sculpting tool wich is great for, yeah, sculpting the greenstuff as you want)
This is the halfway modded Lictor Scythes wich, as you see, have more scythe-like look and spikes.
It's also worth noting that i made a "spacer" of greenstuff on the inner part of the arm to make more space near the body.
The rest of the pictures are not so really much to say about, and or are blurry.
COMPLETED pictures!
This is the front of the Nightmare Lictor!
This is the top left of the Nightmare Lictor. Notice the dead Space Marine under his feet (the Nightmare lictor holds his head in his right hand and the space marines legs are chopped off

.
This is a comparison with a normal lictor.
This is a picture showing details of the Nightmare Lictor and the dead Space marine with cut off legs and his head in the right hand of the Nightmare Lictor.
That was it! Hope you enjoyed it! By the way, remember to comment/feedback and vote!
Before we forget it... Could you guys come up with some fancy rules for it, or help me make up something? I was thinking of making it last long and inflict more death

.
