I'm finally finishing off my ork force and I've created a couple of special models for one of my boyz units. Here is Grumpy and Stumpy! Time to clean up the mold lines and get this unit primed~!

My shoota boyz leader. Here is Grumpy showing you "Your number one!" The finger comes from the Battlewagon commander arm and the power fist is from the Nob box. We simply cut the finger off the pointing hand and glued it on to the power fist. No on ever notices he now has 6 fingers! I stole this from someone here on Dakka.......(Thank you!)




Here is one of the big shoota's from the shoota unit. We affectionately call him Stumpy. Mad Doc Grotsnik couldn't be bothered to sew his hand back on, he was hungry and ate it instead. Stumpy now features the ork high tech metal plate and bolt hand replacement prosthetic.

Hmmm, give stumpy a big hook for supporting the heavy shoota!

Thirded - a hook (or small mech claw) would look good on the end of that arm.

or add a chainsaw on it - a la Ash

Anyway, my only criticism is CLEAN UP THE MOLD LINES! Still cool models though, keep up the good work!

Never been a fan of the obscene gestured models, but hey, personal tastes. I really like the grot on the second's back, and he needs a big spike on that stump...the ultimate ork weapon would be the nail-through-the 2X4!

Politicly incorrect but awesome.

I like'em! I thought the high tech metal plate was funny. But then I also have several internal jokes (with myself) in my ork army. Like the Warboss Lotsfinga. (Orks count "Won too free many lots", and slang for a thief is Five Finger (as in Five Finger Pete), and this warboss got where he got for excelling in fievin' an' robbin'.)

Also, I think orks are supposed to be rude and generally unpleasant, so the middle finger salute is wholly appropriate (and also quite awesome!). Actually, an ork Mooning wouldn't be amiss.
