Is it possible? I was thinking of fielding a list with a Wight King leading a horde of Skeletons, whilst 2 Necromancers spam Invocation of Nehek and nothing else.

Ironically, in 6th edition, you wouldn't have been doing anything unique at all. VC armies regularly had power builds with all Necromancers if I remember correctly.

I did a level 4 and 2 level 2 necromancers to a 6 game tourney.
And miscast 36 times.
Including 9 in 1 game. :(
Of course that was back when VCs had to roll more than 1 dice to cast a spell.

It's a sad sad day when the likes of Heinrich Kemmlar can no longer lead horde's of undead against the foolish ignorant citizens of the empire. I actually really dislike the shape of the undead in fantasy. First they screw me over by splitting the undead into Tomb Kings and "other". Then they change "other" into vampires completely leaving out Nagash and Kemmlar and necromancers in general. Just sad, main reason all my skellies are in the closet  .
