Southern Finland

Warmachine Mk 2 Quickstart Rules w/ Stat Cards for Battle Boxes are now on PP's site.

Checked the cards for Cygnar and didn't spot any changes to the Field test cards.

Cygnar

Stryker - no changes

Lancer - Shock Shield now has an ability called "cortex damage" which causes one point of cortex damage in addition to normal damage on a hit. This ability does not go away if the shield arm is crippled. Shock Field is now one point of cortex damage when an enemy warjack hits the Lancer only, and goes away if the shield arm is crippled. Basically, they split Shock Field into two separate abilities.

Charger - no changes

Ironclad - They reworded the text for Tremor so that it more clear, essentially stating that you do not need a target for the attack, the attack roll cannot be rerolled, and you can make the Tremor special attack on a charge.

Protectorate

Kreoss - Changed the wording on chain weapon and added the buckler to the list of advantages the chain weapon ignores.
- They added the fire symbols to the card next to the text in which they are referenced.
- Removed Ignite.
- Immolation's range is reduced to 8".
- Lamentation now costs 3 focus.
- Protection of Menoth is now called Defender's Ward.

Repenter - Added 8" next to the range notation of SP
- Changed chain weapon, same as Kreoss.

Revenger - Repel has been reworded to mention that if the system is crippled or locked it no longer works.

Crusader - no changes

Khador

Sorscha - Reworded Critical Freeze and added the Immunity Cold symbol. Works the same way though.
- Reworded her feat similar to Critical Freeze, but works the same.
- Boundless charge costs 1 less focus, and they changed the wording to include being forced as well as spending focus.

Juggernaut - no changes

Destroyer - Costs 9 pts instead of 10.
- Executioner Axe has 1 less POW
- Arcing Fire states that models within 1" of the target cannot be ignored rather than models that would normally screen the target.
- Critical System Failure is now called Critical Amputation, but works the same.

Cryx

Deneghra - Her feat no longer affects command.
- Cull Soul is now models killed within 2" rather than models killed in melee with Deneghra.
- Shadowbind can now only work on one model at a time.
- She lost Dark Seduction and gained Influence.

Deathripper - Sustained attack's wording has been clarified.

Defiler - Sludge cannon is now a spray
- Bash attack is listed in his stat line

Slayer - Reworded Combo Strike (I think they're going to have to reword it again, as it says the POW of the attack is STR + Twice POW, which I find a little confusing.)

I really don't like some of the aspects of Mk. I, and I doubt that they will have changed them for Mk. II. However, I am really excited about this release!

If it doesn't pan out for me, however, does anyone have any other games they think they can use these minis for?
