The plan is for the Farseer to ride with the 9 man Avengers unit, reserve everything and come in Turn 2 on a 4+, take pot shots at transports with Scatter Lasers, hit either infantry or heavy tanks with Prisms, depending on which is biggest threat, and either win by 1 on KPs or contest on objectives. Opinions?

The list looks really good.

However, you have no Autarch and so the units come in turn 2 on a 4+.
I'd leave either all units in reserve or none at all.

Good point, I had considered an Autarch instead of the Doomseer, but Doom is so useful for the Avengers and the Stormies, and I couldn't think of a set up for the Autarch good enough to make up for the loss of Doom. Any ideas would be great

I agree with Wuesentuf. The Autrach gives a lot to the list, maybe give him a melta weapon and stick him with the dragons? Or drop the BL's off of the serpents and some of the DA's to make room for him? It is a tough call.

Overall though, very solid list, IMO.

Thinking about it, the reason I reserve everything is so that they get free turns not being shot, meaning I can go for that all important last push in Turns 5 and 6. With an Autarch my stuff is more likely to come in Turns 2 and 3, meaning more time to get shots. On a 4+ reserve roll, one of my troop choices may just stay out for a couple of turns

Isn't the Autarch ability an option? Aka you don't have to add the +1 to reserve rolls for every squad, but instead you can pick and choose?

Well I'll be damned, you're right! I never noticed that, thank you. I'm still gonna use a Farseer, but thats a good bit of info to know

But that's what we were talking about.
A cheap Autarch would be really useful in this army if you plan to hold it in reserve.
Otherwise, don't bother and go with the Farseer which is preferable if you plan to use bladestorm.

I've made a few changes, basically I removed the BLs and added Scatter Lasers instead, since BLs are so hit and miss with 1 shot BS 3, and I used the extra points to add SCs for that inevitable Weapon Destroyed Result, particularly on the Prisms.
