Tiguruis' rule of Gift of Presence allows "you to re-roll any reserve rolls-even successful ones". Does this allow you to re-roll your opponent's reserve rolls. I can justify this in two ways:

1: Rather than saying "re-roll your reserve rolls, it says "re-roll any reserve rolls"
2: You would have no reason to re-roll a successful reserve roll, unless it was your opponents one

You did not roll your opponents Reserves roll, so you cannot re-roll it.

This is correct.

One reason to re-roll a successful reserve roll is if you want to delay the arrival of your own troops - e.g. to protect it from enemy fire, so it can pop up later to claim an objective.

I refuse to enter a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

Also yo0u can have many reasons not to want troops to arrive: for example you want your squishy troops to arrive after youve removed an enemy of their objective is just one.

Just to add to the conversation:
There are many ways delaying your reserves can be beneficial.

That is all.

But if you didnt want your troops to arrive yet - why roll for them?
