Space hulk flamer question: Where is a "Board section" defined? Does it refer to the actual board pieces?

To me it is pretty clear when you deal with a room, but corridors come in the 1,2,3,4,and 5 (I think) square varieties. Is each one of those a different board section?

Also, does the flamer template have ANYTHING to do with what squares are hit (my thought is "No"),

Cheers,
Piousman

It is an actual board piece yes. So if you'll shoot it onto a 1-tile sized corrider, you'll only hit that square, and if you shoot it a 13 tile room, you'll hit all 13 squares.

The flamer templates themselves serve as ammo counter and as an indication what board section is blocked.

I see.

So all of a sudden, it makes a great deal of difference on how you build your coridors, and it becomes more important to follow the plan when building the map. I.e. using a 4 piece corridor vs. 2x 2piece corridors changes the tactical game.

Thanks,
