Ok so I had decided to get a jump on sw before everyone throws a hissy fit and destroys the stores for them but when I checked online it said they were no longer available.So I went to my local gw and they also didn't have it there. Are they making new models? Did everyone have the same idea that I had?

Because they discontinue the old sets before releasing the new sets. It would be bad form to have both on the shelves. The old Wolves have probably been discontinued for a while.

Example: Tyranids (probably the next Codex) no longer have the Codex OR Battleforce available from GW.

Yeah, even the stuff that doesn't change usually gets pulled to be re-boxed with new artwork or prices (ask me sometime about Cadian Shock Troops and my GW account).
