I'm playing an ongoing game of Inquisitor and my character got infected by some mysterious substance. It was a silver metal in liquid form that came alive and forced me to swallow itself. The infection has been maturing for a while.

It started out giving me some sort of silvery coating all over my body(giving the effect of synthflesh[sp]), then I apparently found guns much more suited to my hands and my skin produces ammo(gain gunslinger, rock steady aim, and quick load abilities). The most recent update is that my movements are slowed and my skin warps and fuses(-20I and gain Regen ability).

Does anyone know what has infected me? The GM says he is surprised that we(the players) don't know what it is yet since "it's actually a approved inquisitor article at work here."

Can anyone help please?

It's the Obliterator technovirus.

Part virus, part chaos magicks. Incurable, and changes you from a 90lb weakling into a man of adamantium faster than polio.

*what? Bad taste? My dad had polio as a kid and he joked about it.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Yep, sounds like the Obliterator virus as described in Robey 'PrecinctOmega' Jenkins' article for Fanatic Online. It sounds like your character is at about stage 4...

Have a look here and you'll find a link to a copy of the article (and if you have any more questions about the article, the author can be found on the Conclave too).

I too have got a character in the early stages of infection by the virus - Harry Cronenberg.

[center]I like to remember things my own way... Not necessarily the way they happened.
